The calendar says October, which seems crazy, and we are already seven weeks into another new school year.  Our first 9-week grading period will end on Thursday, October 18. That means report cards will be distributed the following week.  It also means it will be time for our first Wonderful Wednesday of this school year on October 24th.     You will also be able to help save lives that day!  Our Rotary Club will be hosting another blood drive.  This is such an important thing to be a part of.  Not only does the blood you give save lives, but it helps earn scholarship funds for our seniors.   Last year, our high school won an award for having so many students donate blood.  Based on the first blood drive of this year, it looks like we are on pace to be in the running again for the award.  The turn out from our community and our students was overwhelming.  Please, keep it up!

Report Cards, Wonderful Wednesday, Blood Drive, AND Homecoming!  It’s going to be a GREAT week!  The next time our varsity Wildcats play at home will be the Homecoming game on Friday, October 26th, when we host Northside.  It will be a fun week filled with all sorts of school spirit and Wildcat Pride activities.  We may even have a Homecoming Parade this year!  In the meantime though, you have plenty of chances to cheer on our Wildcats.  The volleyball, cross country, and football schedules are all on our website.  We are happy to print them for you too, if you’d like.  Just give us a call.  We work hard to keep our website current with information that is important and helpful to our community.  Our teachers all have their own pages on the website.  They post their weekly lesson plans and other information for the families of their students.   We understand parents need and want to know what their children are learning and working on in class.  We also understand how busy families are every day.  If you have ideas about how we can make our website and/or teacher pages better, please reach out to us.

We say it often because we really mean it, we appreciate and depend on your support and involvement!

It’s always a GREAT day to be a Wildcat!
