This past weekend we had Wildcats in action and recording wins!  Our football team started the season with a win against Spur in Jayton at the Gridiron Classic and Ms. Allison de los Santos had her squad of Varsity Cheerleaders ready to perform as is their tradition!  Our boys showed perseverance. Coach McVey said it was not the prettiest of wins, but it was a win nonetheless.  It was very impressive to see them come back and make a play after mistake. We are looking forward to a successful and exciting season!

Our Lady Wildcats took 3rd place this past weekend in a Volleyball Tournament in Goldberg.  They continue to improve and impress!  Coach Humphrey has had other coaches compliment the team saying they certainly do not play like a first-year team.  Our girls are focused and determined!

Saturday, September 8, you have an opportunity to see them all compete and perform.  Start the day here cheering on our Lady Wildcats as they host Knox City at 10:00 AM.  Then hit the road to Santa Anna where our football team will take on Leakey at 5:00 PM.

Our them for this school year is ‘Where the adventure begins’.  At In-Service, we discussed the definition of adventure.  Webster defines it a few different ways and they all fit perfectly with our mission and our beliefs.  Adventure (noun):  An EXCITING or REMARKABLE experience.  When you are blessed enough to be able to work with young people, there are no normal or uneventful days or even class periods.  Every moment is EXCITING and REMARKABLE – an ADVENTURE!  Our students and staff are incredibly appreciative of the fact our community is part of our adventure.

Every day is a GREAT day to be an adventurous Wildcat!
