I am excited about this new journey with Crowell ISD and cannot wait to get the new school year started.
My philosophy of education is that every child can learn. I believe that if you love your job and love your students they will meet all expectations no matter how high.
2018-19 will be my 18th year in education, but my 1st as a school administrator. I am certified to teach Elementary, 1-6 and Social Studies Composite, 8-12. I have taught and have experience at all levels from 2nd grade elementary to 11th grade U.S. History in High School.
I received a B.A. in Political Science from Texas Wesleyan University in 2000, and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas in 2016.
I have three daughters:
Courtney and her husband Garrett Chambers live in Conroe, Texas and have an 18 month old son named Gabriel.
Thalia Flinn graduated High School in 2018. She is currently living south of Ft. Worth and getting ready to start college.
Jenna Flinn will be a junior next year and will attend school at Crowell High School.
Thank you Crowell ISD and the Crowell community for making me feel loved and welcomed so quickly. I already feel a strong connection to the community and am excited to see where this new adventure leads us. I look forward to meeting and speaking to each of you and extend an invitation to each of you to feel free to contact me at the High School to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
